So,
what is your style?
I paint in an impressionistic style. This
means I paint a likeness or impression of your dog. It captures
the character and personality of the animal without being photorealistic.
What sizes do you paint and can I specify a size?
I'll build a canvas to whatever size you would like, but the general
sizes and prices are defined in the pricing
section. I am not opposed to odd sizes, so we'll just have to
work out a price according to the nearest size in the general pricing
guide.
Can I specify the "main color scheme" or color of
the background?
Of course! This painting is going to "live" in your home
forever. I want you to enjoy every aspect of it.
Can you paint both of my animals in one painting?
Yes! There will be an additional fee of 25% for each additional subject
because it takes time to capture each animal's character.
How much is shipping?
Well, it depends on the size of the painting and the destination.
It could run anywhere from $30 to $200 for the large canvas paintings.
Do you frame the finished pieces?
No, but I can give you some suggestions if you need some. I am not
skilled in that area and I think we might both be dissappointed in
the result.
What happens if you paint my dog, but I don't like the way
it turns out?
Well, hopefully that won't happen, but if it does, then you are under
no obligation to pay the remainder, but the deposit is non-refundable.
If you would like me to try again, we can work something out, but
I'll need another non-refundable deposit. Check out the agreement
section.
What if I can't afford to pay for it once you've finished
it?
Hopefully (for your sake) that won't happen. But if it does, we'll
just store it at our house until you can pay for it or we can set
up a payment plan. Check out the agreement
section.
Can I pay for it in installments?
Sure, but we cannot send it to you until the final installment is
in, and the painting is paid in full. Check out the agreement
section.
Do you only paint Dogs?
No, I've painted dogs, cats, a goose, a parrot and even a hog (actually,
a Harley Davidson motorcycle).
